Julie McIntyre, Sr. Account Executive

Past employment:

I previously worked as a Programmer Analyst II for HM Benefit Administrators. In this position, I created and updated numerous “Crystal Reports” that supported various areas of the business, including Finance, Claims, Actuarial, Marketing, Underwriting, Sales, Incentive Comp, Group Administration, Contracts, Compliance, Commissions, and COBRA.

Please include the main reason you got into this industry, and what keeps you in it:

I switched careers focuses, from implementing and creating IT programs to IT staffing, because I wanted to utilize my IT related degree, background and past experiences but to assist others in obtaining IT-related jobs. I enjoy interacting with a variety of people on a day to day basis and feel I have great interpersonal communications skills and a natural ability to work with cross-functional teams, from an Human Resources and a IT perspective.

Reasons as to why you like working for e-STAFF:

I enjoy working for e-STAFF because I thrive in a fast-paced environment where I am constantly working with a variety of different individuals and companies, trying to obtain the utmost satisfaction and top-notch results for my clients. To see that I have properly filled a position with the best talent of the region or have helped place an individual at a position that he or she is successful is incredibly rewarding and satisfying.

Stuff I do when I'm not working here:

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends.  I’m an avid fan of a laid-back lifestyle, living in the country, close enough to the city but not surrounded by the chaotic nature of people and traffic. I have two horses that keep me fairly busy and often spend time traveling to shows with friends throughout PA.

Jason Demko, Sr. Resource Manager

Past employment:

After spending 11 years in the Marine Corps I decided it was time for a change. Having come from a technical background and attending school for Business Administration, recruiting seemed to be the logical path. I joined a well known Pittsburgh firm involved in the engineering sector for my first 2 years before making the jump into IT with Sullivan & Cogliano. After spending two years with the MA based company they decided to close their offices in Pittsburgh. At the same time I was contacted about an exciting new startup company, e-Staff Consulting Group. After meeting with the parent company I decided this was just the challenge I was looking for.

Please include the main reason you got into this industry, and what keeps you in it:

When I made the switch into the staffing industry my motivation was purely financial. Having researched the industry I realized it was one of a few industries I could control my income based on my own efforts. It was the next best thing to running my own company. After working in the industry only a short time, I realized the immense satisfaction I had after  helping candidates find new careers.

Reasons as to why you like working for e-STAFF:

I enjoy working for e-Staff because it’s an environment I have helped to create. Having started here when it was nothing more than a name, I have been able to see the changes as we have grown into the successful organization we are today. We are a company that refuses to compromise our standards and values to make a quick placement.

Stuff I do when I'm not working here:

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and coaching soccer. I’m also involved with training local police dogs and providing local schools and businesses with narcotics detection K9’s. I’m a member of the BVA Drug Task force helping to educate parents and school administrators combat the surge of drug use in our schools.
