SKILLS:
- Manage a team responsible for the design, development and support of various internet/intranet web sites as well as participate hands on with the projects
- Act as a management consultant and catalyst for creating new ways to use the web to carry out the organization's mission and provide customer service
- Have a high level and visionary approach
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, recommend, and implement policies, procedures, and strategies for managing content of organization's web-based products
- Ensure that all relevant laws, guidelines, and regulations are incorporated into organization's policies and procedures
- Implementing a solution to promote an online collaboration and e-learning
- Utilize development background to write and edit content, as needed
- Implement content management systems using best practices
- Establish, monitor, and analyze performance measures
- Analyze use of the website and use that analysis to improve the design/layout
- Work with innovation team to address and resolve technical issues and discuss new directions and technology.
Desired Languages(s): HTML, XHTML, JavaScript (including AJAX), PHP, JSP, and .NET; Software(s): SharePoint Designer, Dreamweaver, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat Writer, CMS systems and others. Operating System(s): Windows and LINUX; Browser(s): Internet Explorer, Firefox and others; Web Servers: Apache, MS IIS and others; Application Servers: Tomcat.
