The candidate will be responsible for meeting with business and technical staff, end users, and senior management to define requirements. The candidate must also be able to install, patch, setup, support and deploy SharePoint. The ideal candidate will possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships with clients. The developer will also be expected to prepare and maintain related technical documentation.
Candidate must have experience with custom web design and integration of enterprise content using MS SharePoint, to include content indexing, personalization, workflow, and access control. Candidate will lead analysis and development of business requirements and be key participant in building consensus for web implementations, technologies and methodologies. Prior web design, Oracle, and SharePoint experience is required.
Experience/Minimum Requirements
·2 - 5 years of software development experience with an emphasis on Microsoft.NET Technologies including VB.net or C#, ASP.net, XML, IIS, SQL Server, etc.
·2+ years of SharePoint experience.
·Knowledge of the features and architectural design of MOSS 2003 & 2007, WSS 3.0, and Windows Workflow Foundation.
·Experience deploying, managing, administering and monitoring SharePoint.
·Thorough understanding of Enterprise Portals, Collaboration Tools, Enterprise Search, Document & Content Management, and Forms-based Business Process.
·2+ years database experience with SQL Server stored procedures, triggers and DTS packages.
Education/Certifications
·BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related experience
Other Skills/Abilities
· Oracle experience is preferred.
· Prior consulting experience is highly desirable, but not required.
· Microsoft developer certifications (MCSD, MCDBA, Certified SharePoint Developer, Certified SharePoint Administrator, etc) are desirable, but not required.
· Excellent written and technical writing skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
· Highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
· Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
